This product does much more than I need. The screen therefore feels rather too busy.I simply need a to-do list with nice visual features, and a large space for notes.The To-Do feature does not allow a tree structure, so no subordinate tasks.It certainly looks very comprehensive, and is very much multifunction, but lacks active file and web links in the notes, tree structured to-dos and so is not for me.RegardsPeter A

What happened? I successfully downloaded and setup the program. I entered all my scheduling information (i.e. client appointments, etc.) and even backed it up. I closed the program and the next time I opened it, the information was gone and it acted as if the file didn't even exist. I even manually searched for the file and clicked on it to open it and got an error message. So, my question is...what happened?

EssentialPIM Portable 4.01 is a excellent software for writing a Diary. Instead of paper now I can fully rely on this software for maintaing1. Recurring Appontments2. Calendar of Events3. Things To Do4. Notes of Documents like Blood Reports etc5. Email fully portable take it along I mean download with Internet Connection and Then Internet Connection Not Required to see the Stored Emails on Pendrive6. Seems like a decent little application for Personal Information management.Includes email, calendar, to-do, contacts and notes, and eve supports dictionaries and and contact photos.Unfortunately the built-in VCard exporter does not support photo export, which is the one function that i was looking for.Other than that looks very functional to me

I was thinking in using EssentialPIM Portable and I tried yesterday. One thing is stopping me to make a decision: the syncronitzation with a windows mobile Pocket PC runs correctley?. No more hard resets with my htc device.Pere, Girona (Catalunya)

Printing problems Whilst I like the program as a whole I was disappointed that it would not print a working day after 18.00

This PIM is very good. I have only started to use so have limited comments to make but at this early stage I see it has been well thought out and in depth. Some aspects ie: content of drop down windows could be morefull in order to complete the task in hand quicker or with more ease. Overall very good and very satisfied. Severin

I recently downloaded the free version . I tried it along with about 20 other tree notes programs, and Essential PIM is the one I prefered and kept.CH

Problematic I'm not sure what the problem with this program was. I've got the same program as a portable on my U3 and it works great, but I kept running into problems with the desktop version not wanting to recognize its own backup file. Every time I tried to use a previously saved backup file, it wouldn't recognize it and my saved information was useless. Maybe it's a user error... Who knows?

Quite good stuff EssentialPIM has quite good Price/Value. It's worth a try definitely.
